Early Life and Education
Ben Heenan was born on February 5, 1990, in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada. From a young age, he showed a natural talent for sports, particularly football. He attended Sheldon-Williams Collegiate in Regina, where he excelled on the football field.
College Career
After high school, Heenan went on to play college football at the University of Saskatchewan. During his time there, he was a standout offensive lineman and helped lead the team to multiple victories. He was named a CIS All-Canadian in 2010 and 2011.
Professional Career
In 2012, Heenan was drafted first overall by the Saskatchewan Roughriders in the CFL Draft. He quickly made a name for himself as one of the top offensive linemen in the league. He played with the Roughriders for three seasons before signing with the NFL’s Indianapolis Colts in 2015.
