Early Life and Education
Bill Keating was born on September 6, 1952, in Norwood, Massachusetts. He attended Sharon High School before going on to earn his Bachelor’s degree from Boston College. Keating later obtained his law degree from Suffolk University Law School, where he honed his skills in the legal field.

Keating is married to Tevis Keating, and together they have two children, Patrick and Kristen. Family plays an important role in Keating’s life, and he often credits their support as a driving force behind his successful political career.
Political Career
Keating’s political career began in the Massachusetts House of Representatives, where he served from 1977 to 1985. He then went on to become a Norfolk County District Attorney, a position he held from 1999 to 2010. In 2010, Keating was elected to the U.S. House of Representatives, where he currently serves as a member of the Democratic Party representing Massachusetts’ 9th congressional district.
