Early Life and Education
Constantino Guveya Dominic Nyikadzino Chiwenga was born on August 25, 1956 in Wedza District, Mashonaland East, Zimbabwe. He grew up in a rural area and attended Mt St Mary’s Mission School for his primary education. After completing his secondary education, Chiwenga went on to pursue a Bachelor of Science Honours Degree in Zoology from the University of KwaZulu-Natal.

Chiwenga has been married twice in his life. His first wife was Jocelyn Jacobsen, with whom he had children. After their divorce, Chiwenga married Marry Mubaiwa, with whom he also has children. Chiwenga comes from a large family and has several siblings, including his brother Wilfred Chiwenga.
