Early Life and Education
Elsa Patricia Araujo was born on January 30, 1960, in the small town of Llera, located in the state of Tamaulipas, Mexico. From a young age, Araujo showed a keen interest in politics and social issues, which ultimately led her to pursue a career in public service. She attended the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), where she earned a degree in Political Science and Public Administration.
