Early Life and Education
Stig Arild Slørdahl was born on March 6, 1959, in Kristiansund, Møre og Romsdal, Norway. From a young age, he showed a keen interest in science and medicine, which eventually led him to pursue a career in the field of cardiology. He completed his medical degree at the University of Oslo and went on to specialize in cardiology at the same institution.

After completing his specialization, Slørdahl began his career as a cardiologist at Oslo University Hospital.
