Early Life and Education
Harvey Weisenberg was born on December 31, 1933, in the Bronx, New York. Growing up in a working-class family, he learned the values of hard work, compassion, and community service from a young age. Weisenberg attended Long Beach High School and went on to study at Hofstra University, where he earned a degree in education. He later pursued a master’s degree in education from New York University’s Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development.
